Christiania Blåseensemble was founded in 2008, for and by the music students of Oslo, in cooperation with the Norwegian Academy of Music. Christiania is a project-based ensemble, performing both traditional wind band music and arrangements of symphonic works. One of the main goals of the ensemble is to be a connection between the students and the professional ensembles and orchestras, and also to promote up and coming conductors and composers in Norway.
Christiania Blåseensemble was the winner of the 2025 Norwegian wind band Championship.
